2022 Welcome!Welcome everyone! I'm really looking forward to making music with you all again this year. Of course, we want to do this in as safe a way as possible, and we will continue to follow public health guidelines and industry standards. We will aim to keep sections small to allow adequate spacing and masks are encouraged while singing.
Music and the arts are an amazing way to learn about ourselves and the world around us. Along with learning repertoire and preparing for performances, we will explore the ways music affects humanity, past and present, and will focus on culture, the language of music, listening skills, and analysis and reflection. I also hope we will experience the beauty of creating together. Choir will begin on Thursday, September 8 at 12:30 in the theatre (room 60) with a meeting about the schedule, and possible performances, as well as some of the events we hope to bring back this year, like the Fall Choir Camp, a Spring Arts Tour, and Choral Cupids. Placement sessions will take place from September 9-16 and regular classes will begin on September 20. Sign up will be outside the theatre. See Ms Brown for more info. Hope to see and hear you soon! Registration for choir is ongoing, so please contact me if you are interested in joining. Concert Choir
